About

I am a veterinarian who is board-certified in laboratory animal medicine (i.e., comparative medicine). Additionally, I have a master's degree in molecular bacteriology. My major research interest is improving the lives of research animals. My goal is to improve laboratory animal husbandry and enrichment and refine research procedures when utilizing these animals. I am also interested in how regulations and policies are applied to animals used in research, teaching, and testing.
